These Terms and Conditions and the accompanying Cancellation Form are provided in compliance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and are effective from 14th June 2014.
These terms may be changed from time to time, if so a link to any previous versions will be posted here.
This document (together with any documents referred to in it) tells you the terms and conditions upon which we sell and supply goods listed on this website, or on any other distance-selling medium.
Before confirming your order please read through these terms and conditions and in particular our cancellations and returns policy and limitation of liability and your indemnity.
By accessing and using www.kalypsoglass.co.uk or ordering any of the goods listed for sale, you agree to be legally bound by these conditions. You will be unable to proceed with a purchase if you do not accept these terms and conditions as may be modified or amended and posted on here from time to time.
We reserve the right to revise and amend this website and listings for sale, disclaimers and the conditions at any time without notice. Your continued use of these (or any part thereof) following a change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether we have changed these conditions.
You are purchasing item(s) handmade by A & R Harrison Jewellery, a partnership between Andy & Ruth Harrison, trading as Kalypso Glass. Our contact details are shown in the footer of this document.
All items are made in and shipped from England. All transactions are subject to English legislation and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of an English court.
The price of your item is shown in the relevant listing and in the checkout page or invoice. This price is inclusive of VAT, where applicable, but exclusive of any delivery costs. The cost of delivery will be shown on the checkout page or invoice and includes both postage and packaging costs.
Items returned through non-delivery to an address or non-collection from a postal depot will incur a redelivery charge.
You, the buyer are responsible for any fees, taxes and charges that may be levied on importing into your country. Please check your country’s own policy regarding imports before ordering if you are unsure.
Payment, unless agreed otherwise, should be made through PayPal at the time of purchase. You do not need a PayPal account to use PayPal and all major credit or debit cards are accepted. PayPal handles your credit and debit card details; these are not seen by us at any time.
All ordered items will (unless specifically advised and agreed with you) be dispatched within 72 hours of payment clearing by Royal Mail or a courier of our choosing. Please be aware that PayPal e-cheques can take up to 14 working days to clear. No items will be despatched before cleared payment is received. Please note made to order, customised or commissioned items may take longer and you will be advised of a timescale when a design is agreed, see the section on Commissions for details.
Unexpected non-delivery of item(s) should be reported to us within 30 days, allowing enough time for delivery and enquiries to be made of the delivery agent.
No contract of sale between Kalypso Glass and you, the customer, exists until full payment has been accepted and all funds cleared. If there is a problem with your order you will be notified via email as soon as possible.

If you wish to cancel your order and return your purchase, please contact us either by post using the cancellation form, or by emailing us at sales@kalypsoglass.co.uk. Your cancellation notice must quote your name, address, the name or description of the goods and your order reference number (where applicable).
You must contact us within fourteen (14) days of receiving your item(s) and then return the item(s) to us, unworn and unused with any labels / notices still attached, in the original packaging within fourteen (14) days of notifying us that you intend to do so. You should post your returned item to the address shown at the bottom of this page.
Please note that for hygiene earrings are supplied sealed in plastic, once opened we will not accept returns.
We are only obliged to refund the cost of our standard shipping rate for your item, shown as default when you checkout. If you have chosen to pay additional costs, such as special delivery, these costs will not be refunded if you choose to cancel.
Please note that return postage costs will not be refunded.
For your protection we recommend that you use an insured/trackable method of return and the original packaging to ensure safe delivery.
Our items are packaged in such a way that you can easily examine them on receipt and repackage if necessary. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the item(s) whilst they are in your possession. Returned items must be complete, undamaged, unworn and unused with any labels / notices still attached, include any supplies and documentation etc that were part of the cancelled transaction. Missing parts or damaged merchandise will be deducted from the final refund. If any of the above mentioned conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse return or significantly lower the value of the refund due to diminished value.
We will refund you on receipt of returned goods using the same method by which you paid.
It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations, please contact us by email or post using the email and postal address given at the bottom of this page.
Our items are intended to give years of wear and use when used appropriately. If you have cause to be concerned over the item(s) you have purchased from us, please contact us by email:sales@kalypsoglass.co.uk or by post to the address shown at the bottom of this page.
Each commission undertaken will only begin after consultation between ourselves and the client. Where necessary, sketches or photos will be supplied. On larger projects we may ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the commission before work begins. We aim to complete standard commissions within 28 days from design approval.
On purchasing a class with Kalypso Glass we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the date and time for the class to take place, if we are unable to find a mutually agreeable date a full refund will be made.
If you wish to cancel a class after your fourteen (14) day right to cancel you must contact us as soon as possible.
If the cancellation is made 2 days or more in advance of the class then a new mutually agreeable date will be agreed. For example a class due to start at 9am on Saturday must be cancelled before 9am Thursday.
After this time the date of the class cannot be changed, a new booking must be made.
No refunds will be made after a date is agreed.
When taking part in a class you will use gas torches with a very hot flame and handle molten glass, both have the potential to burn both you and your clothes if not handled in the way instructed. Kalypso Glass are not liable for any damage or injury incurred while taking part in a class.
Under 18s, we may accept bookings including people under the age of 18 but please contact us to discuss before booking.
All items we supply and sell are appropriate for their purpose. We hereby specifically disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, injury or other negative consequence in whatever form, howsoever caused, which arises from the use (or indirect use) of any product advertised on, or supplied by Kalypso Glass.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
All payments are handled by PayPal. We have no access to the financial information you input to our sites. We only have access to information required to process, deliver and acknowledge your order, as provided to us by PayPal or yourself.
After a transaction, your private financial information (credit cards, financial details, etc.) will not be stored on our servers. Your contact details will be stored on our server solely as our record of your purchase in case of later query by yourself.
